My DH and I have been TTC since he has been back from Iraq. And he has been back since 01/19/08 after a 13.5 month tour. Before he left we TTC with 2 losses from 10/05-01/07...pretty much up until the day he left with one month of him being on R&R. We have yet to have our dreams come true. While he was gone I saw a fertility dr and this Friday we are going to see him so DH can ask questions and get to know the dr. I am scared b.c I have no idea what to ask and how to ask for anything. All DH and I want is to be is blessed! I am currently in my 2ww but with symptoms that are like pregnancy but with every other month I have the same symptoms for AF's arrival. I am confused and emotionally warn down. B.c DH and I have waited 2.5 yrs and we just want to extend our family!

Oh and my symptoms are:
Some not really anymore Tender BB's with some enlargement
A lot of bloating
mild cramping
a little back pain but could be from working out

If you dont mind, do you know what happened with the baby you lost at 16 weeks?

As you can see, i am pregnant again. But i loved it here so much after my loss in october that i am staying.. These girls are great.

Hi, thank you~ I don't mind. I lost my first baby after 16wks due to chromosomes and it never developed a sex and the second one was due to a blood clot. Come to find out I have a blood clot disorder.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

I am so sorry to hear of your losses. I too have a blood clotting disorder, actually I have 2. What is yours and what do you do for it?

I have been trying to expand my family for nearly 6 years now, so I know your frustration. These are a good bunch of women here and I hope that you find as much comfort as I have with them.

Are you planning on trying clomid or something? I hope that you will get your bfp real soon and wont even need the dr. appts.

Hi Angela, I am sorry to hear of your losses.

I think I make #3 on here with clotting disorders.

Anyhow, I hope your doctor's appt goes well and you get some good information.

I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I hope your Dr can help you two achieve a baby to keep on earth. Let us know what the Dr says when you go back.

Hey ladies thanks for the warm welcoming! I have blood clot disorder called Factor Five. When I get pregnant next I will be put on a blood thinner to help with the clotting during the pregnancy.
Friday, DH and I are going to chat with the Dr about being put on something that can speed up our BFP. We know the risks but we feel there have been wasted months and we are ready! I scared to what he has to say but I know everything will be in good intentions.

Ladies who have blood clot disorders, which ones do you have?

Hi Angela,

I am not entirely sure which ones I have, but my doc told me 2 of them came back abnormal. She said that my body doesn't process vitamin B or folic acid like it should. She also said that this gene causes increased risk of heart disease, and that it is something I inherited.

I am taking baby aspirin and metanx right now, and possibly will be doing shots when I get pregnant.

I hope your appt goes well and you get your BFP just ASAP!!!
