i have been told that i am going to miscarry and it has been 5 days of bleeding, heart was still beating yesturday and cervix is still closed.... going for second betas tomorrow yesturdays were 1772 how long did it take for you to miscarry after the bleeding started???

if there is a heartbeat and cervix is closed why dothey think you will miscarry? How far along are you and what is the heartbeat?

i wouldn't worry about anything till the heart isn't beating anymore. You sound find just might be having AF which isn't uncommon for some women during pregnancy.

i ditto the other girls... wouldnt they just call it a threatened miscarriage at this point??? if the heart is still beating and all...

If there is a HB and your cervix is closed...why do they think you will m/c?

I'm kinda confused as well.

With mine, I heard a heartbeat and they told me all was fine. The heartbeat stopped 3 days later for no explainable reason, but it was the lack of h/b that made them tell me the m/c was coming.
