I'm aggravated!!!! They didn't give me an u/s. I know my MW doesn't usually do it until 10-12 weeks, but I figured they'd make an exception in my case, since I went for the early one at 6w and didn't see a hb. So I cried when they told me they weren't giving me an u/s. Both my MW and the nurse said that it might still be too early to see a hb, which is CRAP b/c I've always seen the hb at 8.5 weeks! I just got a pap and bloodwork.
The MW said I could come back in 2 weeks for an u/s b/c then they could see more. But then she could tell I was pretty upset, so she said I could come back next week. So I have an appt on Tues at 3:30 for an u/s. So 6 more days of waiting....but I guess no news is good news.

Kim I am so sorry. I know how much that must hurt to look so forward to something and then not have it happen.



My first thought was...rent a doppler! I know that isn't the best thing for everyone. For me it was the best thing I did though and I had never had a loss before when I rented mine. I heard the hb at around 7-8 weeks. I can't remember exactly how far along I was.

I hope these six days fly by and you get that reassurance you so need.

Awe Kim, I am really sorry about that. I know how upset you must have been. I would have been really upset too. Maybe you can call tomorrow and see if they will fit you in based on your prior history? Can't hurt to ask.
