Hi girls,
i feel bad posting this because its not really an update at all..
Nothing has been going on... the last day i spotted was tuesday... my DH has been great with helping me around the house...
The only thing really going on is me freaking myself out once again... not feeling pregnant..not as fat... (u know) not peeing as often, not as tired, not as hungry etc.. etc.. i just wish i could shut my mind down until my next appointment!
Question, does taking progesterone suppositories cause your cervix to stay closed? so that even if something had happened you wouldnt spot or anything?
Next appointment is the 19th at 10 am.. and i am PRAYING there will still be a strong heart beat and the Dr. will tell me the blood build up has been reabsorbed, and the baby is measuring perfect .. and that he'll give me a picture this time!
Thanks for ALL your prayers!!! i really need them.. for the babies health and for my peace of mind...
~Em

I'm glad you haven't spotted for a couple days, and that you have an appt next week. I have been thinking of you and Ebaby, and I'm sure you'll get good news at your next appt.
As for the progesterone, I really know nothing about it, but I'm guessing that if you were going to m/c, you would and it wouldn't magically hold your cervix closed. I really think everything is going to work out for you and you'll be so relieved after your appt.

That is def an update and sounds great! No more spotting!!
Try not to read too much into symptoms, I know it is so hard when worried but I have a good feeling about this very special baby and can't wait to see pics from your next apt.
Best wishes and you're in my thoughts and prayers

I don't think the progesterine would do that, but I don't actually know. I think it's great you haven't had more spotting so hopefully your body has absorbed that extra blood. I do hope you get pictures next week to share with us!

Thats a good update!! glad you havent had much spotting in the last day or so!!!
I am on progesterone, and I do not think it will hold your cervix closed if something were to happen to the baby.
about the symptoms, with my loss I had TERRIBLE morning sickness, etc.......
This time around I have had barely any pregnancy symptoms. I havent puked once, etc......and I am almost 12 weeks and as of yesterday baby had a strong heartbeat, I hope that makes you feel better.
((HUGS)) you are in my thoughts and prayers sweety!!

Glad you stopped by to update us Em!
I am happy to hear the spotting has stopped--that definitely is a good sign to me!
As far as the progesterone, I really don't know about that...
The 19th will be here before you know it and we can't wait to see those beautiful pics!

Nope.... they couldnt get me in sooner because it was a follow up u/s to see how my baby and my body are doing.. so they needed a bit of time between the two... ya know...
as for the progesterone.. i have read things that say it really hasnt been proven to help at all... and the only times they think it MIGHT help is if you start taking it the day you ovulate! but they also say it doesnt hurt anything to try it...
and also, ive read that the progesterone can delay a nonviable pregnancy longer than it would have been normally... which honestly.. for me.. i think id rather hope for the rest of this week... and feel like i was TRYING something that MIGHT help, than have my pregnancy end and feel like i didnt do anything...
So! Here's to feeling really tired and gassy! good signs and im hanging on to them! haha... no matter how gross...
