Well, FF had originally given me crosshairs on CD 13, which I didn't ever really think was accurate anyways (that would make me have like a 27 day cycle, which I NEVER, EVER do!
Well, then today, I put in my temp (which did go up slightly!) and FF took the crosshairs away!
So, I started playing with my temps over the next 2 days...if they stay around where it is today, I will get crosshairs back on CD13. If they go up, even a little over the next 2 days, I will get crosshairs yesterday, on CD 17.
My cycles are normally around 31 days, so yesterday is more accurate in my mind, but at this point I am sooo confused I don't really know what's going on.
I guess the next 2 days will really tell...
And if I don't get a clear O time on here, I will be taking this chart straight to my doctor and seeing what our next step is.
Ahhh, just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening girls!
*****************************Update*************** ******************
Well, my temps took a serious nose dive this morning. I even took my temp 2x to make sure it was right--and it was.
So, I guess I am either going to ovulate really late this month or not at all
I guess this is why I started temping in the first place, to figure this out. But it really does stink!!!!
The kicker is, my dh never, ever goes out of town. But guess what?!? He is flying down to Texas next month over his spring break with my sister to help her drive her truck and boat back. Guess when? Yep...right during my fertile time if I'm not pregnant this month
I have tried to stay really positive throughout this last 4 months, but today I am really beginning to wonder if I am really supposed to have another baby at all...

Aw Melanie, I would be so confused too!!!! I don't use ff anymore and I don't take my temp. I think that would drive me crazy. I just printed out a chart from one of the websites and do it that way. Also, I really depend on my digital opk. It worked last time so I will go back to using that. I wish you luck and hopefully in the next days you get your answers.

Melanie, I can understand your frustration. I don't know a thing about CH and FF and all of that. But I would also lean toward the CD17 for crosshairs if your cycle is 31 days long. My cycles were around that length before my m/c and I ovulated on CD17 the month I got pregnant.
I am trying to temp myself and absolutely hate it! I forgot this morning, and my temps have been up and down b/c I don't remember to do it before I get out of bed! I am about to give up!!

Hey Melanie,
Sorry to hear FF is giving you a hard time. I looked at your chart. It's a toughie. The only thing I can think of is some women are slower to respond to the progesterone than others and it does not show up in their temps for a few days. Maybe over the next couple days you will start to see a clearer trend in your temps?
I don't know sweetie, just a thought.
BTW, I still have not O'd yet - argh!

Thanks for your responses ladies. I guess at this point, I just have to see what the next 2 days bring.
I never really wanted to have to chart, but I decided to start now. That way, if I am still not pregnant in the next couple months and I go into the doctor, he won't be able to tell me to start charting to get a better idea of what's going on. He will be able to look at what I have already done and we can go from there...
Anyways, I hope we all get nice, clear ovulation patterns soon and we can all start to fill up the Dec DDC

Hey Melanie, I agree with Amber, if you normally have a 31 day cycle, then CD 16-17 should be your O date. My cycle is exactly the same. I am having similar temp challenges this month. My temps started high and now they are low. Go figure!

Oh Melanie, I am really sorry sweetie! I understand your frustration and pain.
I know you have been so positive, and probably need some time to let yourself feel sad. This process is so heartbreaking at times, it helps to know that others understand and can empathize. Which I certainly do.
The only thing I want to say that might help you feel a little better is that it probably is a good thing that you started taking your temps. In the slight chance that you are not ovulating, then your doc can help you with that. From what I understand, there are lots of ladies out there experiencing the same thing, they take some Clomid and voila they get pregnant!
You know I am thinking of you hon, please keep me updated....

I'm sorry hun. I have a hard time remembering to temp so I probably won't ever get crosshairs and I still don't completely understand the whole charting thing.

I'm really sorry Melanie! You're always so upbeat and I hate to see you down.
This whole charting/temping thing is a lot harder than I realized. Are you doing OPKs as well? I am no help on this front, but I can tell you I don't think you should give up hope yet!
I think your plan is great to show your doctor you've been trying and need something else if you aren't pregnant in another month or so. I can tell you, at least taking clomid this month has at least given me some hope if nothing else.
As far as next month and your DH being out of town, you never know when you're going to ovulate, especially with all the wackiness, so hoepfully you will get a pleasant surprise!

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. I love you girls!!
I had a good cry today in the shower and was a little teary at a couple other times and I feel better. I am not giving up hope yet, but I am less optimistic than I was yesterday at this time...
We'll see what happens the rest of the month. I told dh he better get ready, cause we aren't resting until I either get (and keep!) crosshairs or AF arrives...

As much as I resisted starting to temp, that is why I decided to start. That way, if I am not Oing, we can start Clomid and hopefully that will kickstart my cycle. I will definitely keep you updated!

I am not doing OPK's this month, but I may break down and do them next month too. I just thought that temping every morning might give me enough info...
I am still holding out a little hope that I will already be pregnant when he's gone next month. If not, we'll just have to get it in before and after and hope it's enough!!

Melanie, I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I hope you get your bfp soon and you won't have to worry about missing out next month. Good luck to you!

Hey girl, I am just popping in real quick to check on your chart. Looks like you are revving up again maybe? Wouldn't that be funny if we O'd on the same day and both got BFP's this month?? Keeping everything crossed!!
