I was given the shot of methotrexate last friday because they found my pregnancy was ectopic at 4w5d. I've been trying to find some info on how long it usually takes to get back to a normal cycle. I had a 32 day cycle and since the injection I've been bleeding. It's going on a week. Do I just wait until I think I AF? Or do I still count my normal cycle days from last AF?

Very Confused,
Jess

I wouldn't count the miscarriage bleeding as AF. I would start with the next AF. It takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks it seems for AF to arrive after a miscarriage.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the advise! I just hope my next baby is able to find their way! My HCG levels were dropping fast so hopefully we can try again soon.

I'm glad I found all of you nice ladies!
