Does anyone know how long the +'s will last after miscarrying ?

I POAS this morning (don't ask why .. it was just sitting here so I figured I'd just use it to get it out of my sight ), and the line was super dark .. darker then they were when I first got my positive.

Mine are still showing a slight + and it's been about two weeks or so. They are very faint though. With my 14w loss they showed + till about two weeks after but were very light.

If they are still dark I would call yor DR and request either an u/s to make sure the uterus is clear and/or blood work to make sure your levels are dropping.

I have to ask are you positive you miscarried? Is it possible this is a new pregnancy?

On 1/31 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. He was our 7th loss
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pitures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3

I have heard of HPT's staying positive for a little while until the hcg goes out of your system (which also affects when you can start TTC again...)

But, it seems like if it is that dark, I would maybe have your doctor run some blood tests to check your levels.

Hope that kinda helps. Please KUP!

i think it depends on how far a long you were, too.
i was 7.5 weeks with my m/c and i was getting BFPs more than a week afterward. i just kept testing to see if i still had hcg in my system.

i would def go to the dr and get your levels check again. If your test is getting darker then you might have not m/c, just a thought.

I had a m/c the month before I got preggo with my daughter, it was an early one and the HPTs just kept getting lighter, not darker. Good luck!

Thanks ladies!

I was 5 weeks, 3 days along.

Update - took another HPT this morning (FRER) and it was a BFN ! Not even the slightest line.
Took another one right before dinner (CBED) NOT PREGNANT!

I am happy (I know that sounds weird..) But I am. I read up on it and it takes some women 4-6 weeks to get a negative HPT after having a miscarriage .. So I'm glad that my body was able to "dismiss" of everything on it's own. I'm no longer bleeding.. (tmi) I've been all day without a pad. I'm really hoping that my body looks at this as a period , and that I'll O in 2 weeks or so !!

Thanks for all the advice and support
