My weekend started Thursday night, I headed to my in-law's as usual! It was a great night! My SIL and I went out, saw a good friend of her's & her sister who was 10 days overdue at the time! She had the baby on Saturday, a girl! We don't know her stats or name yet.

So, Markus was suppose to be down this weekend and that never happened. We are officially annoyed & po'd at his mother. We went to where she lives to get Markus, because THIS weekend was DH's scheduled weekend, you know? Markus wasn't there, or at his grandparent's home. We filed a police report with the police in their town. Now there's a record of her not allowing Markus to see his father. I'm glad, this was too long in waiting!!!

Dwayne and I had a good weekend, no fighting! He seems to be back to his regular self!! I'm very happy!!

This week coming up, I'll be MIA from Wednesday (19th) until Monday (24th)! Have lots of stuff to do, plus it's the Easter long weekend here, and I'm spending it with my in-law's!!! I'm very excited about that!!! I hope we're able to get Markus this weekend, I want to put together an egg hunt for him! SIL and I really want to do this for him!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!! I missed everyone!! I'll be going through major withdrawl this week when I'm gone!!!

Wow sounds like you had a pretty good weekend with the exception of his Ex. Sounds like next weekend should be good too! What are we going to do without you for all those days!

Glad you're back, atleast for a couple days.

Glad things were better with Dwayne! That sucks about Markus, but I am glad that you filed a police report so that it is on record.

Hope you get him next weekend and get to do the Easter Egg Hunt--sounds like fun!

You know, its just ridiculous when adults can't put aside their issues for the wellbeing of their child. Who does his ex think she is hurting? For you and dwayne, its temporary hurt. For Markus, its life long. It's unfortunate that you have to deal with this. I had dueling parents when I was a child. They couldn't be in the same room with one another, and often tossed out hurtful violent threats toward each other. I still remember. Good luck with his ex. Maybe the police report can have her held for contempt of court.

I agree with Step, its always the kids that get hurt. But hopefully things do work out and you guys have your Easter egg hunt (I wish I was little I want to come) Glad you had a nice weekend and dh and you are doing good!!! We just had my step daughters b-day party y-day. It turned out nice. Her real b-day is on Easter and she turns 13.
I know want you mean about withdrawals, I miss one day and feel like it was a whole week. Have a nice Easter and have fun with the in-laws.

Sorry about Markus, Jess. It's so difficult when, as stated above, ex's try and hurt the other parent and in turn end up hurting the child.

I love hearing you talk about Markus, it's so cute, and it sounds as though you love him as if he were your own......and real soon, you will.
