I just was wondering if anyone knew when the bleeding stops? I know that my internal stuff is ok because they did an ultrasound to make sure the pregnancy wasn't eptopic, but I'm still bleeding steadily. Does anyone know how long it will last? I figure it will be about as long as a normal period but I didn't know for sure.

Wow, as if it wasn't a crappy enough experience. Well that sucks. At least now I sorta have an idea as to how long-ish. Thanks hun.

Mine lasted for 10 days and then I had spotting for about 4 days after. Then AF visited 28 days after the date the baby passed.

I had a d&c, and my bleeding only lasted about 5-6 days. I didn't get my 1st af until after about 1 1/2 months though!

I am so sorry for your loss!!
this last one, I bled lightly for 3 weeks straight before the sac passed, and then bled lightly for another 2 weeks after that, with only maybe 3 days of heavy bleeding in there, and that was when I passed the sac.

But I am pretty sure I O'd right on time as if AF started the day after passing the sac, so hoping she shows on time here by the end of this week.

Sounds like everyone had quite a while of bleeding. Now I'm confused. I talked to an OB doc today who was in my clinic, and he said that since I wasnt very far along to wait about 1 cycle (but he gave me the feeling that wasnt even necessairy). I think I passed the sac yesterday because (TMI) It was the only clot of anything I have seen/passed. It was red and yellowish or even almost greyish. I was pretty convinced that was it....

Do I have to wait to have a normal period to figure out when I ovulate now? I'm some what "slow" lol when it comes to charting or counting or anything. DH and I decided to go off bcp and then 2 wks later I got prego... So now I'm lost. Any suggestions?

I did go ahead and wait 1 cycle, especially since I had a D&C, but lots of women don't. If you are comfortable with it and your doctor seemed to be okay with it, you can start trying again right away.

I hope you get a sticky BFP soon!

Thanks everyone. You ladies are a huge help. Not only with information, but with being able to sympathise / empathise with everyone. If this board wasn't here I'm sure for myself at least this would have been a much harder experience.

I appreciate all the info, I have an apt with my doctor today and I'm going to make absolutly sure everything is good to go, and hopefully DH and I will start trying again soon.

I hope that soon everyone gets their and we can all move over to a DDC together. It would make for one awsome group for sure
