Hi there,

My husband and I originally got pregnant 2 months after trying and then miscarried in our 10 week to find out the baby only made it to 5 wks. I had a D&C after the miscarriage and waited 2 months (as requested by my doctor) to begin trying again. Since then, we have been trying now for 4 months and have had no success.

I can't help but wonder why it's taking so long and if there is a chance i can't conceive again.

Has anyone had this problem or knows why it's taking so long this time around?

Thanks in advance,
Crys28

I'm so sorry for your loss! I had my m/c at 7 weeks. I've been trying for almost 7 months now. I don't know why it takes so long. I have a 3 yr old daughter. I got pg with her right after I stopped birth control. I stopped bc when we decided to try again and got pg 2 months later, then had the m/c. I know it's hard ttcal. I wish I had answers for you, but I don't have any for myself either. Good luck to you!

I don't know alot about temping, 'cause I haven't done it yet. I know you buy a basal thermometer. You have to temp every morning before you get out of bed and record it. opks are ovulation predictor kit. It's kind of like a home pregnancy test, but it tells you when you ovulate. You can read about them on the internet. Hope some of that helps
