Okay, so my DH and I stopped at the grocery store last night. We were walking into the store, but this car was going really fast and would have run us over had we not stopped. The polite thing would have been for the car to stop, right? I always stop and wave people across in front of a grocery store.

Anyhow, I can be a little hot tempered at times..... and I gave them a nice wave, as in thanks for stopping you jerk! Well, the car came to a screeching halt, and we about crapped our pants thinking we were going to get jumped or something by some crazy people.

WELL, it was our neighbors/friends!!! They stopped because they saw me waving and thought I was waving at THEM!!! HA!!! I could not stop laughing. I told them I didn't know it was them, and I was waving because I was being a snot because they almost ran us over!!

i woulda probably just pretended that i waved because i knew them... but its good you told them..maybe theyll pay attention next time!

I, like Em, would have probably just told them I was waving cause I knew them. But, I am glad you told them the real reason. Maybe it will cause them to be a little more aware in the future!
