Sorry have been MIA the last few weeks. Have been a little down considering Emily's EDD was coming up. We did some special things on her EDD 3/12 and it gave me closure. Ok so here is how my dr.s appt.s went.
2/26/08: Went to see coagulation specialist and was told the samething over and over again. But he did some blood work to find out which clotting disorder I have. So I was diagnosed with Prothrombin Gene Mutation Factor II. It was kinda a relief but then again it sux. So when I become pg I have to have 2-30mg lovenox injections a day and when I hit 26 wks the dose will be increased to 2-40mg lovenox injections a day. At 39 wks I will be induced to control the labor and will have to continue the injections 6wks after delivery. I will not be able to be put on BCP ever in my life as that will cause clots that can be fatal.
3/11/08: Went to see my Reproductive Endocrinologist. He spoke with me for 2 1/2 hrs and was very helpful. He listed the causes for me of why pg loss happens. Believe it or not there are 8 reasons for pg loss. I was amazed at how much he knew about this. Although he has written a book and has over 25yrs experience in this. Anyways, he suggested that I be put on Clomid to become pg again since DH and I both have fertility issues.
Today: My reg. OB called and discussed the results and she was happy that they found a cause for the deaths of my babies. So at the end of the month when af arrives she is putting me on 100mg clomid twice a day starting on CD 5 and ending on CD 10. Hopefully we will have some success.
oh hunny, im so sorry for your loss, however i am sooo happy they have found out why it happened and you will now be able to prevent this again!! that is so exciting!! i wish you all the best and pray you get your BFP next cycle!! horray!!!
Thank you all for the support. I think that this cycle DH and I may not be able to BD during my ovulation time. He is going out of town for work for a week and I'm ready to kill his boss. It seems the minute I get answers and it's time to get "started" he has to go out of town. I'm hoping that the CLomid will make me O earlier than CD 18. I guess I will have to keep my fingers crossed. But I am going to get some OPK's to make sure when I O so I don't have to guesstimate.
