Hi everyone. I've lurked around JM over the past 2 years. I have a 20 month old and I just recently lost my second son at 17 weeks. I went in for a regular check up and there was no heart beat. I delivered our little angel on January 26th and we buried him on January 30th. My OB figured I have a clotting disorder, that being the reason for my preeclampsia in my first pregnancy and losing my second son in the 2nd trimester. Well I don't have a clotting disorder and I was told that DH and I could get pregnant whenever we are ready, I just have to take a baby aspirin everyday starting now, since we are putting this in God's hands this time around, we're just going to let nature take its course. My question though is I had AF on Feb. 29th, this being my first since I lost my son. Then DH and I BD'd on March 14th, which for me, usually, would have been 1 DPO on my regular cycle. Well today 6 dpo I started spotting and now I am having what seems to be AF, but way too early. How do I know what my cycle will be? I'm so confused any help on how to get back on track would be great. I know that we are putting this in God's hands but I do like to keep track of my cycles, I've always been so regular. Thanks Ladies

Hello and

I am so sorry for your loss and I am sorry you have to be here.

As far as your cycle goes, is there any chance that you are pregnant and that you are having IB?? Just a thought...

I look forward to getting to know you, but I hope that your stay here is short and you get to rejoin a DDC soon!!

I've had that same thought, I just worry that this bleeding is a little too much to be implantation bleeding. How much is too much? What is a normal amount? Is there such thing as normal?

Hmmm, I really don't know how much is too much!?! I guess you will have to see if it continues or if it tapers off over the next day or so...

If it is AF, it seems like you have a really short cycle--what, 20 days?? If that continues, I'd talk to my doctor for some input.

KUP girl!

First.... I am sooo glad you decided to de-lurk and post!

I have no idea about your cycle. You should think about charting. Most people think it is a lot of fun (me included).

It is possible you Oed early making AF early...or it could just be a wacky post m/c cycle. Post m/c cycles can be REALLY wacky.

LOTS of baby coming your way

After my m/c my cycles were very strange. I have never been regular in my life but after the m/c, you could place bets on when I would get my cycle. Except for the one that was supposed to be on Feb 18 and didnt show up for a good 2 weeks later. I think when you have implantation bleeding it is a very small amount and very light. Thats just what I experienced before I was told I was pg. I thought I had started but like I said it was way to light and minimal. I hope all this rambling helps!

Welcome to the board.

It may take a little while for your cycles to get back to normal but I did want to mention that you may just be ovulating a little later right now and just experiencing breakthrough bleeding http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Bleed...uring_Ovulation

I read a lot about it the past few days so it is a topic in my mind right now. It seems that although it would mean your ovulating over a week later than usual it is a possibility. Like Melanie said though, implantation bleeding is an option too. With my implantation bleeding I had heavy bleeding for half a day (2 tampons because I actually thought I started my period) and that was it. I hope you can figure it out soon. The 2ww is too long!

I'm sorry for your loss, but I think you will like it here. Hopefully you are already pregnant again! I know after a loss your cycles can be a little wacky though.

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that we can help you by answering your questions or even just being here to listen when you need someone.

About the bleeding I had IB the day i got my It wasn't much but it is different for everyone. Mine was spotting for about 3 hours and then it was gone. I have known some women to have what they think is an actual period during the beginning of their pregnancy though. I'd say possibly test if it isnt too soon, or just wait it out. Whatever you decide on please KUP. Best of luck, and we are all hoping for the best for you.

Welcome to the board. I am so sorry for your loss. I had IB this pg and it was like brown watery cm. I had it for a day and a half but it was only spotting here and there the whole time. After a m/c your periods will be crazy. Sucks I know but maybe you should think about charting like bobbie said. It helped me keep track of my cycles and after a couple of months on it I could figure out when AF was about ready to show up. Lots of luck to you and
