How long after a m/c does it typically take for cycles to return to normal? I'm usually a 28 day type gal, but my cycle's are crazy since I delivered my son "still" on January 26. I bled for 6 weeks after, then stopped for two weeks, got my 1st period on February 29th, and then yesterday 20 days later, I got my 2nd period. I'm so out of whack, I just want an idea of what most women experience.

I won't be much help hun. I've asked that same question to the board and to my Dr. and everyone said it is different for every woman. I'm sorry.

I wasn't as far along as you with any of my losses but after my first loss it took 1 cycle post m/c to get back on a normal schedule but my new normal was a 29 day cycle versus a 31 day cycle. My 2nd cycle I got pregnant immediately after and had another loss so this is my 1st cycle post m/c so I have no idea how screwed up I am now. I hope things go back to normal for you soon.

Like Eleysia said, everyone is different. As for me, I was pretty much back to *normal* after my first post m/c AF arrived. The first took about 5 1/2 weeks after D&C, but then I was back to around 30 days.

I'm so sorry!

Everything has been wacky for me since my m/c in November. It took me 42 days to get my first AF, and only b/c my doctor gave me prometrium to kickstart it. My cycles have been similar in length.. just no ovulation.. so I'm still not back to where I should be. But we are all so different so it's tough to gauge! Good luck!
