Hi girls,
Bobbie said you were an awesome bunch of ladies and that anyone was welcome here. Since I miscarried I feel kind of lost on JM and I bounce from board to board without a "home" where I feel like I really belong. It was hard to leave my DDC because we were really close, and the pregnancy loss board has been really great too. But I miss having a place where I know everyone and they know me.
The miscarriage was pretty recent and we're still in the grieving process, but I know that as soon as the doctor gives me the thumbs up we'll be TTC again asap!
Here's a quick intro of me: Ashley, 25, DH Jay is 29, been married 3 1/2 years, just loss pregnancy #1, I teach 6th grade, love to sing, dance, eat, sleep, talk, laugh, and be goofy!
So whaddya say? Can I join you?? Pretty please?!

Ashley....
a BIG HUGE
I am glad you are joining us and hope you love it here. We have girls waiting TTC, TTC and lots of ladies who got their BFP's but just can't leave I think they would miss my POAS art...but that's just what I think
We have chats on Monday nights at 8:00 EST and they are always a lot of fun. Pee ahead of time or else you will wet those depends
We also do *post counts* a lot which are just chit chat threads to get our personal post counts up.
I do have one question to ask..... are you a POAS addict? Most of us are not very good at waiting to test. Some of us... not naming names... test even before we O. LMAO
I m/c a little over two weeks ago and am ready to get this show back on the road. I went ebay shopping and bought.... ummmm... quite a few HPT's.
Jump right in. We all love having new friends to talk to.

Thanks Bobbie, you reminded me of a few important pieces of information that I neglected:
1.) Yes I am a POAS addict!! I didn't realize you could buy them online though! Can you get them in bulk for cheap? I am soo there!
2.) Yes I am wearing a diaper right now. LAUGH IT UP!!! I was so sick of bleeding through all my underwear so I bought some "adult diapers" to wear until the miscarriage ends.
Seriously, feel free to make fun of me! I'M CONSTANTLY making fun of myself!!!
Anything else y'all need to know, just ask. I'm an open book (VERY open!!)

I just wish I was smart enough to have thought about diapers. I sooo would have done the same thing. I got very tired of all the bleeding and changing sheets. i LMAO the first time I read that post.
Ummm I will not tell you I bought 700 tests on Ebay for around $20....nope not me... must be my evil twin

Hi and welcome! So sorry to hear about your loss though. I'm Tatiana, and I too am a POAS-aholic! I bought 10 FRERs for $10+shipping on ebay. But I used them all up our first cycle trying(last cycle). So i have absolutely NONE in the house! It could be it's because I'm only on CD7 . I had an ectopic pregnancy in Nov/Dec, and we think a chemical pregnancy last cycle. The ladies here are great, and I had to wait 3 cycles to try again(after my ectopic) and they so lovingly accepted me in while we were waiting.

I just wanted to say welcome! I lurk on here everyday. I don't post much but it was a very comforting place for me to come after my loss. I wouldn't say it was "nice" to see others that was going through what I was but it definitely made me feel like I wasn't alone. My dh and I too lost our first pregnancy in September after 8 weeks 4 days. It was a shock because miscarriage never really crossed my mind. We weren't trying to get pregnant...he came back from Iraq in July...we got married in August and found out on our honeymoon in Hawaii that we were expecting. (OOPS) We would of been due next month. But we had to have a d and c...(not one but 2) and was told to wait 3 months. Which technically we did wait 3 months (after the 1st d and c) , the 2nd d and c was for retained tissue a month later. Anyway...after I had 2 full cycles we tried again and fell pregnant in December (Christmas day).
My name is Amanda I'm 29 (soon to be 30) and my dh is 33. I have a step daughter who is 5 and two fur babies. Which amazingly enough one is a long haired dachsund named Rusty (I saw your picture. Russ looks just like yours but red) also we have a Shiz tzu named Cipher who is still a pup and loves to be carried everywhere like a little baby.
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you can find as much comfort here as I did (and still do). Good luck with everything.

Hi Ashley, ! I am Stephanie, 39, engaged to Dan, 35, TTC our first with medical assistance after our missed miscarriage at 10wks in Nov 07. We have 2 furbabies (samson, golden retriever and murphy, chocolate lab) and will be adopting a new furbaby puppy when she is ready to come home in May. We have a lot of fun over here, definitely find it to be our home. Happy to have you, but sad about the circumstances that brought you here.

Welcome!! I am 29 and dh is 32. We had a mc around 6 weeks back in 2003, blighted ovum in 2005, and our beautiful dd Abby was stillborn at 27w5d almost one year ago. We are still trying to bring home a crying baby after 6 years of marriage. I know the pain of bouncing from board to board. This is where I landed and just can't seem to stay away now.
Oh and about some of us testing before we even O...well I am guilty. Shhhh don't tell anyone though!
You made me laugh about those diapers, but thats really a good idea. I will make a little confession. I kept the crazy panties they give you in the hospital after giving birth for my heavy af days. They really are great, I just couldnt' part with them. lol
Cant wait to get to know you more. Sorry for your loss.
