So anyone else have a hard time quitting coffee? I quit for a week AF came and DS was sick over night so I needed some coffee friday morn, and now I've been drinking it everyday since. My brain is convinced that it's ok to drink it as long as I'm not PG. It's just so hard to stop, it's my one indulgence. Of course when I quit drinking coffee my appetite is OUT OF CONTROL!!! Any advice?

I was just telling DH that I have to quit soon! I always try to cut back to one cup a day on the 2ww.. then cold turkey if I end up preggo. As soon as AF comes, I like to treat myself to a big mug of it to help myself feel better about not being pregnant. But I definitely need to give it up! I should be able to b/c I only drink it at work anyway, not on the weekends!

I am a BIG TIME coffee addict!! I have switched to Starbucks Grende half caf right now, and then during the 2ww, I am going to tall half caf. Then, if I end pregnant I will go cold turkey. One step at a time!!

I drink coffee, It's more like a latte half chocolate milk half coffee. But when I was pregnant this past month (chemical pregnancy), I stopped drinking it at about 8 DPO, I just stopped liking it, but as my pregnancy faded along w/ my symtoms, I started drinking it again.

Well if you are really serious about quitting coffee altogether i suggest looking into foods that boost your energy levels so you can kinda rely on that instead of coffee...

But i am a big time coffee fan... and when i was TTC this baby i had had one loss and didnt want to do ANYTHING to damage the next baby... so i quit it altogether except for (like amber) the day i got my period i would have a big old cup of coffee!

I had one cup of iced tea on friday... and thats been my only caffein since about a week before i Oed with this baby.

I keep telling myself once i get to 12 weeks i can treat myself to a half caf cup of coffee now and then...

i quit when I was pregnant last year. It's not that I liked the coffee so much, its that I liked the chocolate in my coffee. But, even that little bit of coffee that was in my small mocha latte gave me heart palpitations. So I stopped, but realized that the hot AM beverage was all about a wake up ritual. Now I drink one small cup of hot chocolate. But only on the 3 days I work. Still getting my chocolate.
