OK, where do I start. I had a D&C on Feb 6th.That was my 2nd m/c in 6 months. I bled for 9 days then stopped. I started my period on Feb 29th. It was brown for about a week then red for about 10 days and now it is back to brown and I've had that for over a week. Totaling a period of today being day 24. Is this normal after a D&C. I'm so frustraited. We have been TTC for 2 1/2 years

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry to hear of your troubles...

It's bad enough to have a mc/d&c, but then having toruble getting back to normal physically is a real pain is the #####

I don;t think that sounds normal, but I am no doc. Maybe you might want to call your doc's office tomorrow?

Hi Brynn!

First, let me say that I am so sorry for your losses. I had a D&C in November, but I didn't have the prolonged bleeding afterwards like you are describing.

Like Victoria said, I would call my doctor and atleast ask them what they think. Maybe they can run a couple tests just to make sure that everything is *okay*.

Also, just wanted to let you know that the weekends are kinda slow, and with yesterday being Easter, that's probably why you didn't get too many replys to your post. I hope that you stay and hang out with us...this is a fun and zany, yet supportive group of women.

Hi sweetie, I remember you dropping by a while back. I am sorry you are still going through all that mess. Although I didn't have a D&C I do think that is a bit excessive for bleeding. Have you spoken with the doc? Hopefully she can give you some insight. Please KUP. HUGS

hey hun, I'm so sorry about your losses
I had a funky period after my d/c also. It was on and off for about 12 days. I cannot imagine 24.. how frustrating!! I agree that you should call your doc, if only to just get things moving for you and make sure everything is going ok in there. Keep us posted!!
