i'm linda,
i was over in the nov ddc, but this last fri i had a m/c and a d&c. too lazy and sad to change my ticker thing. =(
it's too soon to ttc just yet for me, but thought i'd come and chat w/ you guys about it.
for those who got a bfp 2nd time around, how long did you wait? and how long did it take? i don't know how long it'll take for me to get my cycles back to normal.
for now, i'm just still sad about it.

Hi Linda! I'm so sorry for your loss. I had my m/c and d&c in August. They just told me to wait until my hcg levels went down to zero. I hope you get to ttc again soon. I look forward to getting to know you. The ladies here are wonderful. Just ask if you need anything at all.

hi there, im so sorry for you loss, i was sooo beat up about mine too!! my ticker was actually the first thing i changed, as soon as the bleeding started i deleted everything!!! i was just so mad!! people heal differently and they way i did was by reading thousands of stories of women losing there babies at like 20 and 30 wks and i reallised how God was actually protecting me from that, i would never be able to cope with that as those women do, its sad coz by then they have personalities and things... is very sad... you just moarn my love make sure you are emotionally ready to try again
this is my first cycle after my m/c and im still waiting to Ovulate.... so we will see

I am sorry for your loss Linda. I pm'd you, but wanted to add something. If your Dr. wont put you in for blood test to follow your HCG drop (mine wouldnt) then you can always buy the "answer" brand OPK. HCG interferes with them, and if you go that route, the test line will get lighter as the HCG leaves your blood. I hope that helps you hun.

Hi and welcome Linda! I'm so sorry about your loss.
Most Drs tell you to wait at least one cycle before TTC again. I waited 2 and am on my second cycle of trying. I hope that even while you are waiting that you stick around with us.

Hi Linda
I am so sorry for your loss. I had a m/c and D&C in November. I then waited 1 cycle and we are on our 3rd cycle TTC.
Please stay around and hang out with us, even if you aren't actively TTC yet. This is a great group of women!
I look forward to getting to know you!

thanks for all the replies! i didn't find a pg loss board, so i came here, since i will definitely be ttc again soon. i can't even imagine how those who have a m/c later in pg must feel, it's hard enough at 7 weeks.
i'm glad i found this forum.
i've had 3 hcg tests so far. one was to confirm my pg, that was 195. the 2nd was when i had my m/c, it was 490. then to make sure they were going down, i had one a few days after my d&c, and they were 40. so they are coming down. i think the baby was gone way before i started bleeding, the dr. said my hcg at that time should've been like 100,000 (it was 490).
i feel pretty antisocial right now. except online, i just don't want to see any of my friends in real life.
can't wait til i can start ttc again, i feel so anxious about it all.

Linda, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was in the Nov DDC as well, but was quickly gone as I was due Nov 2nd and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I never talked to my doctor. The nurse practitioner at her office suggested I may want to take a cycle off. I was devastated at first, but just O'd and we did not try not to conceive. My hcg levels have been back to zero for a while now. I would say to listen to your body emotionally and physically and when you feel ready you can try again.

Linda,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish none of us ever had to know that kind of heartache.
as far as TTC, dr.s usually say to wait 1-3 cycles.....but sometimes emotionally it takes a little longer. I waited almost a year after my loss to try again, just because I was scared to death !! Then when we did try, it took about 3 months to get our bfp.
here is the link to the Pregnancy Loss Board, which has helped soooooooooooooo many of us here, and still does !!!!! Pregnancy Loss Board
but stick around here too ! It's fun
take care,
~HUGS~

I am very sorry for your loss. It will take time to heal emotionally, give yourself that time, you will know when you feel ready again and for each person that is a different time line.
I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks, and had a D&C on August 18. My first AF after was Oct. 2 and I had a BFP November 6! We were blessed to conceive so quickly again, and I was ready emotionally too.
I love this board! I still hang around here, especially to read up on everyone, I don't post much on any boards right now due to my schedule. But I will say that the ladies of this board helped me soo much during and after my m/c....its a fabulous group.
Hugs to you.

So sorry for your loss. Welcome to TTCAL. There are some really cool people here. We waited 2 cycles before TTC and we are currently in our second month of clomid and IUI.
