I cant believe I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow. I've only been this far once so it feels great to get this far again. I'm feeling a lot better today and am starting to believe that this is going to be a sticky baby. I have this thought about this pg.
We got pg around Valentines Day, I'm due to find out what we are having around our 2 year anniversary and I'm due around the date that we got Engaged. Tell me thats not a sign that this baby will make it
I am still refraining from buying ANYTHING for this baby even though its early because I dont want to ginx it. I cant wait till Wednesday. Mike is coming with me and his phone does recordings so I asked him if he would try and record the heartbeat and he said he would try. I know we will get to hear it because I heard Samantha's at 7w5d. 5 More days to go!!!!!!

I'm so happy for you!!!!! I thought I would feel the same way about holding off on buying baby stuff too, but can't help it. I feel great about my pregnancy as well and you can't jinx it.

Aw I am so happy you are doing good. Hope awesome that you will be due around the time you got engaged. That makes it ever so special. I have a good feeling that you and the little bean are going to be just fine. I don't blame you for not buying anything yet I think thats how I will be when I get pg again. Congrats and I bet you cant wait to hear the heart beat.

That is so great. I feel this is your sticky baby, too Angie! I am so happy for you. Yes, I believe those are all signs that this baby is it. That is so neat about being due on the day he proposed and finding out what it is around your anniversary. I'm so glad Mike can go with you to the u/s. I hope these 5 days fly by for you. KUP

Thats really great!
I never bought anything for baby E and i really wish that i had... i wish i had something that represented my hope for that babies new life... I still havent bought anything for this little one yet though either... but its because ive been busy with two year old birthday party plans and potty training!
Go buy something! maybe the day you hear the heartbeat you can go get the first little thing for your coming baby!

Thankx girls I'm tearing up just thinking of everything Mike and I have gone through for this baby. I'm due the 8th till I go in to my appointment and we got engaged on the 11th. The 11th means a lot to mike and I for lots of reasons. First the engagement thing, and on Sep. 11th the man who murdered my best friend was found guilty and Oct. 11th is the day he got 2 life sentences. So the day 11 has a lot of meaning to me. I think I may go out and get maybe a baby blanket on Wednesday once we are done at the doctors. My appointment is at 10:30. I'll make sure to get on here as soon as I get home to update you guys.

This made me smile. I'm so excited for you! When I was pregnant with Erin, I knew deep down that she was going to stick around for a while, so even through all my anxiety I had that gut feeling.
I'm excited for your update!
Oh, and I think I only bought 2 or 3 things for Erin before she was born (of course I already HAD everything that I had gotten for Cora), and then were all after we found out she was definitely a girl.

Angie, Woohoo that you are this far already!!!
I feel so confident about this baby of ours and really believe it's going to come out healthy and kicking at just the right time. I do understand though why you are anxious. And I think it's a great idea to treat yourself and your baby to a first "gift" after your appointment. I did buy a pair of little ballet slippers and a girl baby blanket for the baby I lost. I was so sure I was having a girl this last pregnancy. It was hard but I ended up giving my very good friend the shoes and told her I wanted her to have them for her baby girl, who is coming next month. I have held onto the blanket and like to get it out and look at it from time to time. I don't know what I'll do with it. But I kind of like having that connection to the baby I lost. So for me, it's a win-win. But you are not losing this baby so it doesn't matter anyway!!
