I need some help, and hopefully SOMEONE here can help.
Should I even bother investing in a new bra size right now or wear sports bras until after my milk comes in? I have another problem too, my breasts are REALLY uneven.. Like, I don't just mean a little, I mean almost a cup-size difference. One boob fills an A, VERY nicely and is almost spilling out, while the other doesn't even come close to filling an A..And this has gotten worse since being pregnant.. I usually just wear padded push up bras to make it so no one notices..But I also wear..err, wore a really rare size, a 36A.. I wish to god someone would see a 38A, because being pregnant i've had some backfat accumulating AND some extra boobage, but its hard as HECK to even find a 36A in a store where I'm not spending a TON of money on bras.. I've found my size at walmart, and target, but both places only have about 1 brand that will sell it.. I don't want to wear sports bras because they make me not only look flat, but with how crazy my one big boob has gone while pregnant, and the other "dud boob" I call it, they look SO uneven even while clothed AND in a sports bra..
Does anyone have uneven breasts, who have breastfed? Does it make it even MORE obvious? I know its going to be so uncomfortable for me to wear padded push up bras while breastfeeding, because they're not easy to just push out of the way.
I don't know if its the estrogen with this pregnant, or what, but when I was preggo with DS, I didn't need to change bra sizes.. Even when my milk came in, it didn't seem like I was that engorged.. i was looking forward to having big boobs at least just for a little while LOL And remember how dissapointed I was.. But I could not breastfeed DS..
I just don't know if I should bother trying to find a place that not only will have my bra size, but if its worth it if they're going to change again?

I don't think I can answer all your questions, regarding uneven breast size and breast feeding, but (in Australia) they recommended I could be fitted for maternity bras at 28 weeks. I ended up wearing those bras from then on until birth (and after obviously) as they were more comfortable than anything else I had. So, with regard to uneven breasts, I'd highly recommend going to someone who can actually 'fit' you for your size.
Even if you then don't buy expensive bras from where you got fitted... at least you've had some good expert advice on sizing and these ladies are generally very good (in my experience).
I am going to get fitted soon to check my size for maternity bras. My old ones are worn and faded after breastfeeding two babies so I'd just like some new ones for this time round.
I've also read that badly fitting maternity bras can increase the likelihood of getting mastitis.
Good luck anyway!

I had a problem with uneven boobs before I had my first child. One was a full B, the other one was barely a B. In high school, during gym I would never wear a sports bra, because of uneven boobs. I ws too embarrassed. Once my milk came in, they kinda evened out. I actually prefer a bra with some padding, because I don't want my headlights to be on all of the time (which seems to happen more when I am nursing). I always go to Motherhood when I get closer to delivery and get fitted. They have some great padded nursing bras that flip down just like an unpadded bra. And the great thing about some nursing bras is they have adjustable cups, which is handy when you are full or not. I loved them and plan on getting more later. And if you are worried about getting your size, Motherhood can fit you and let you know and you can check their website.
Also, here is a link for good nursing bras in all sizes, LLLI Lightly Padded Contour Nursing Bra.

I just bought a bra today on sale at JCPenny's and they had a rack that was an additional 75% off. Ones with no underwire and padded I prefere. I had the lady JCP measure me today and am currently a 38DD ugh...... and she even measured me twice to be sure she was right. The ladies there were really helpful and made sure things actually fit me the way they are suppose to. She also suggested a extender if I continue to grow I just put on of those on to give me a little extra room. I guess I bought another one because I can't stand being uncomfortable or the thought of sagging.

I would check Motherhood also. Their adjustable cup bras are awesome and will last you through your milk coming in and after.

I am also having major bra issues and am too cheap to buy more since I think my boobs will get a lot bigger.
I am normally a 34B. Last pregnancy I went up to a 34/36C. Right now, I'm exploding OUT of my C's and I think I need a 38 because it feels like it digs into me underneath the boobs. I bought one bra at Target that was on sale, but I don't really want to buy more since I got up to a D cup last time when my milk came in, and therefore I have no idea how big I'll get this time.
Also, I don't like nursing bras - I stick to tanks while I'm around the house and if I run out somewhere I wear a normal bra, just one without an underwire when I'm nursing so that I don't get clogged milk ducts. However, now I still like the underwire, so it seems pointless to buy underwires now that may not fit in another 2 months AND that I won't want to wear while nursing.
I think I have a D cup normal bra downstairs in my pregnancy/after pregnancy tub that I should try to find.
I do LOVE having bigger boobs right now though - as far as I'm concerned, it is a major highlight of pregnancy!
