Those of you who've said you saw your stitches on tp...what did it look like?

When I wiped the other morning there was a little purple string on the tp (yes for some unknown reason I am still looking at the tp after every wipe. I guess after 9 months of it..it becomes a habit lol) Then this morning I saw the same thing in the toilet. Could these be my stitches? How long does it usually take for a tear to heal?
