Does your LO recognize themselves or family members in pictures?

Maybe Abri is a little behind on this one, but she finally recognizes herself in pictures! She did it the other week but wouldn't say it again until today. She looked at the picture and said "Ah-pay, Lee-Lee, Mommy!" She used to call every little girl in a picture Lily, including herself. Recently she started pointing me and DH out in pictures. I have one picture up in the house from a few years ago when I had a pixie haircut and she pointed and said Ya-Ya (my mom). Eek.

I don't think Kolbie does. If she does she hasn't let me know, I also don't think she can say her own name and I'm not sure she has the concept of "me" yet either. I'll have to try it out. She can identify DH, Kaija and me in pictures though.

Vi recognizes herself. At first she would just point everyone else out and she'd leave out herself. But now she either says "Violet", "Vi-Vi" or "me" when looking at pics with her in it.

Meghan calls herself baby, no matter what. Once in a while she'll say her name but most of the time I tell her to say Meghan she'll reply "me baby". She'll pick Robert and I out of a picture but just points at herself and says baby.

Jed calls himself a baby in pics. He basically calls any young person a baby, so I don't think he recognizes that it is him. I don't think that he has that concept of "me" yet. He will say "mommy" or "daddy" if he sees a pic of us.

I'm pretty sure Livi doesn't recognize herself--she always says "Baby!!" when looking at herself or other young babes or kids. She will pick out dh and I.
