I think we're going to have our meal on Friday since dh works Thursday and they are getting them food so he would be eating twice. I'm not THAT into Thanksgiving so i dont mind if its a day late, and this way dh can help me cook also.
As for how to cook the turkey i like it either in the oven or grilled. When we host Thanksgiving (every other year) dh grills it and its amazing. I'm not sure what we're doing this year since we'll just be having a breast for the three of us
I never make the turkey for Thanksgiving despite the fact we host it every year. My dad does one and DH's uncle does another
I like it either smoked or fried.
The turkeys we get aren't ever huge just because we have two prepared diffently, but there are always plenty of leftovers for as many people as we have each year
Honestly i've never made one by myself I'm sure i will eventually. Jimmy and i have done it together and we like to buy one of those injectibles to squirt in the meat. It makes it soooo moist. This year we are going to my familys house on Thanksgiving and having a turkey dinner with Jimmy's family on Saturday
