Alex learned how to climb onto my dining chairs, and since then has used them to climb on the dining table. I don't know how many times I have pulled him off the chairs and the table today. I tell him no, and give him something else to do. That hasn't helped at all today. My dh caught him on the table earlier and told him no so loud it scared him. He started crying, but not 5 minutes later he was trying to climb back up there. I don't have anything on top of the table, so I don't know why he wants up there so bad. I just don't know what else I can do aside from removing the chairs from the dining room. Any ideas?

Caleb JUST started doing the same thing this week! Soooo frustrating! I've just resorted to moving all the chairs away from the table. I line them up against the wall until we need them.

Mason being doing that for a while now. When you come to my house you will see that there are no bar stools at the island or chairs at the table. I keep them pushed up against the wall in the entry way until we eat. It helps deter him but not completely. I have wood floors so occasionally he'll just slide a chair to where he wants it and then climb, climb, climb
