Three years ago I went to VS to finally get myself a nice new bra since I was done nursing Kaija and I wanted something better than a $15 Walmart bra. I nearly cried when she measured me... 40A. For real. FYI, that size doesn't actually exist! Fast forward to last night at work, we were learned how to measure for bras, etc and I am now a 40DD! I've NEVER had boobs this big! I really didn't think she was right but I put a bra that size on and I'll be darned if it didn't fit. No wonder none of my bras fit right!

That's a big difference! I finally went to Motherhood Maternity to find the right size, and I'm a 40E. When I told my mom, she laughed in my face.

Big difference! I've always had a large chest, and it just keeps getting bigger with pregnancy/nursing over and over

VS doesn't do accurate sizing anyway. They add 4 inches to your rib size which decreases your cup size by a lot.

It's so hard to find bras in my size (32G). I have to order them special online. I have really small ribs and a large cup size. Bleh.

40DD is pretty big!! But I've seen bras that size in stores so you are quite lucky in that regard!

My friend laughed when I got measured last and was a D cup! It was ludicrous really as at my biggest I was always a C, but it seems they've changed their measurements or something?? the D cups did fit me, but I'm not a D cup in the 'old system' by any means! My friend who laughed has had a breast reduction but still has very large breasts so she knows her sizes .

Uhhhh...yeah He did say the other day that he'll be sad when I'm done nursing because they'll go away, so I could nurse for a bit longer and that would be okay with him!
