For quite a while now Jamie has been saying "fook" for fork and frog. The first few times it really caught us off guard, until we figured out what he was really trying to say. I've gotten used to it by now BUT now he is saying "F*** It". He says it quite a lot and its absolutely F*** and not another similar sound. That's not even an expression I used so I had no idea where he got it from!!! Two days ago I set up his train tracks and when he knocked off a few pieces he brought them to me and said "F** it, F** it, F*** it" so I'm starting to think he means "fix it" although I'm not sure why he used it so much before getting the trains. My friend said I should tape him and put it on YouTube Anyone else's little ones say words that sound naughty but really aren't?

Meghan said Frog over the weekend and I totally thought she was saying the F word!

She did say a real curse word a couple weeks ago though. I felt so ashamed! She threw a toy onto the couch between Robert and I and yelled "Da**it!" We've been hyper aware of our words since and are trying to be much more careful. I didn't realize we even said that word that much. So embarrassed!

Lily used to say that for clocks. We were at a bounce house place once with a Thomas the Train bouncer with a clock on it and I asked her what she wanted to eat for lunch and she said she wanted the "**** for lunch" I finally figured out she meant clock and then I kept saying super loudly "oh, the clock, haha, you're so funny" as all the moms in the area shot me dirty looks.

Vi hasn't said anything resembling a bad word yet.

Kolbie popped out a few "sh*t"s this week... She was copying me and my, I'll mom when we dropped something or burnt the cookies. At this age it's easy to ignore and move on.

On the other hand, Kaija has decided that "If (I have to go to the toilet/eat lunch/do anything that wasn't my choice), I'm going to kill myself" is an acceptable thing to say. I really have no idea where she picked it up since we NEVER say anything like that at home. It's kind of upsetting to hear your not quite 4 year old say that, even if she's not 100% sure what it really means.

We've been lucky with Abri that she hasn't picked any bad words up or mispronounces anything funny. Now Lily on the other hand has heard things like heck or crap from my mom and MIL. She said them once and we told her never again. She also taught her entire Catholic preschool class the expression "Shut the front door!" She learned that one from hanging out with her cousins who watch different tv channels than we allow here. That one took a little longer to phase out

This is so funny!! Livi was totally trying to say fork today and it sounded like the f bomb. Luckily, my dad and his girlfriend got a HUGE kick out of it. She has no idea, of course.

Anastasia has a speech impediment, and when she was little we had this blue table but it came out as "bull ****" when she said it. She was older, like 3 and 4 so no one believed she wasn't cussing.

No Camden hasn't said anything that sounded like a curse word. Quite honestly if he did i wouldn't make a big deal of it because then i figure he'd be more likely to keep repeating it. Same will apply when he's older. I'll tell him its not appropriate to say but not make it a big deal. I don't curse myself so that makes it easier. The worst i say is crap and i don't even like saying that around him because it just wouldn't sound good if he repeated it. I guess i'm the odd one out because i've never really found it funny when kids say curse words. *shrugs*
