Every time I read new research on EDS I just get so flabbergasted. Today on my EDS board there is a thread about ribs, and everyone has one side that sticks out WAY further than the other. Like on one side you can't really see my ribs at all, and on the other it looks as if I haven't eaten in years.

Everything about me, EVERYTHING, all my little quirks, and my habits, and the way my body works ALL relate back to EDS. It makes me wonder what type of person I'd be if I didn't have it. It completely defines everything about me.

I think that would be hard to deal with Beth. I am constantly amazed how how well you hold up with everything that seems to be thrown your way. Especially since it seems that so little is known about EDS. Don't you ever wish people just understood? Sometimes I feel that way about Julia - people don't seem to understand when I try to explain the complexity of her eye situation. Sending you hugs today.
