I have my first appointment with the OB today in a few hours. I am getting really nervous. I am going to insist that they do an ultrasound because I have been having some pain on my right side. Last night it was pretty painful, and I was about to make dh take me to the hospital when it finally stopped. I am just over 6 weeks, so I know they wont be able to see a whole lot. I just really want to know that everything is where it should be. I will be finding out what their game plan is for me since I am high risk, and I hope that I don't have to go in every two weeks like I did when I was pregnant with Alex. I will update after my appointment!!

Thank you all!! I will be leaving in about 20 min. My dh is getting out of work early to watch the boys for me, and pick my dd up at school. I am thinking about convincing him to come with me because I am so nervous. The Ob is close to my dd's school, so if it takes to long he can just run to get her quickly. Also I want him to be there if they do an ultrasound. I don't know if he will go for it though. He doesn't like to hang out in waiting rooms with the kids. I don't blame him, but I am going to try hard to convince him to go with me.

Well everything is great!!! The baby looks great. I got to see the heart beat, and it is measuring right on target. Then did move my due date back 2 days to september 16th, my birthday! I got a cute little picture of the blob. They are making me wait 6 weeks for my next appointment. Since I will be monitored more closely in the second and third trimester they wanted to give me a break during the first trimester. She said the pain that I am having is probably because that is the side that I ovulated on, and that the pain should go away soon. I will be getting another ultrasound at my next appointment, so I am pretty excited about that. I am just so happy that everything went well!!
