More or less anyway 
She hasn't nursed in over 24 hours. Whatever bug she's got has made it so when she nurses she also swallows any drainage and then she throws up. So I've been trying not to nurse her to keep that from happening. I had been working on weaning anyway since I'm away from home at bed time most nights now. We were really down to nap time and bed time or overnight.
So I guess 1 year, 10 months and 2 days is it! I'm darn proud of that!

I'm sorry that a bug is the reason why she weaned. You did great by nursing for so long!! I think that is an amazing accomplishment!!

maybe when she is feeling better she will want the boob again? Matilda goes a day or soo without and then she is back to it.
If not...you did an amazing job!! I only nursed Logan 10 months before he weaned. I am proud of you!!

You did AMAZING! She may become interested again in a few days! I wish Vi had kept nursing - she weaned when I got pregnant again (like almost from the second I conceived) and I took Benadryl for a massive allergic reaction (1x!) and it dried my supply too much  She just wasn't interested after that.

She does want to nurse now. She'll sit in my lap and yell "Open! Please!" and tug on my shirt. But I had been working on weaning and wanted to be done by 2, so it kind of worked out in a sad way.

You did a fabulous job, Mylene! YOu should be very proud of yourself!
Mia just weaned recently too. After our second loss in November, I stopped nursing (Bree had weaned just prior). I couldn't help but wonder if all the prolactin built up in my system from 3 years of continuous nursing might be supressing the progesterone necessary to maintain a pregnancy. So I weaned. I am a little sad about it but whether its related or (probably not), this pregnancy has stuck so far....I miss nursing though....
