I'm debating asking DH if he wants to go out for dinner. We got his state refund but we need to refile our taxes so we'd be better off holding on to it. And we have food that should be eaten... It will probably be pork chops or burritos if we eat at home. And I probably will be at work anyway.

Maybe I'll just take the girls out for lunch and to run errands that were waiting for Thursday...

Some sort of salsa chicken crockpot recipe I found on pinterest this morning. Chicken breasts, cup of salsa, can of cream of chicken/mushroom soup, packet of taco seasoning. Then add a cup of sour cream after it cooks for 6 hours

It's morning here so haven't thought about dinner for tonight, but last night we had 'nonya meatball curry'. It's a thai dish and I thought it was great

. Dh asked me 'was that a lot of effort to make?'......... it wasn't hard but getting it all started was a little time consuming...anyway apparently he thought it was okay but probably not worth extra effort (ie. he's not worried if I never make it again

Dan cooked b/c I went out to do some shopping. He made the trader joe orange chicken - side of rice and veggies- and saved some for me.

I've made this chicken, salsa, spices, black bean and corn thing I saw on pinterst and it was the best thing I've made in a while...it was a crock pot recipe too! I felt it was also fairly healthy and even Rachel ate it...I love pinterest!

Laura I love homemade nachos!

We had quinoa, chickpea and veggie wraps in spinach tortillas with sweet potato chips and strawberries.

Tonight we're having black bean tacos with spinach slaw and chile lime aoili.

Last night, my dh made semi homemade pizza (he used premade crust). It was pretty good.

Tonight, we are either having tacos or sloppy joe casserole.

Last night I met my mom and some of her work friends and just had appetizers and drinks at the restaurant. I have no idea what DF and DD had??

Who knows what I'll have tonight?? I'll be at work so will probably buy something there.

Okay, so I know I will qualify for the Worst Mom of the Year award, but DH and I snuck out to a little Mexican restaurant about two minutes away from our house. And now that we are home we are feeding our kids leftovers from when DH grilled out a couple nights ago. I know, it's bad to go out to eat but make your kids eat leftovers....but I needed the hour or so break we got from it!

Angela - I think that is fine!

We actually had a bucket of chicken tenders and popcorn chicken from Wal-Mart last night. Julia was at the pedi and we found out she has pneumonia so I just picked that up when I got her prescriptions. Talk about bad mom - I didn't even make a side dish or veggies. jed just had chicken...
