I've been on the pill for 7 weeks now. The gyno put me on them and told me to skip the sugar pill every month, never have a period.

I'm on day 11 of my period now. The gyno told me to take the sugar pills starting yesterday to have a period and jump start my body again. Shouldn't have a period from now on.

Anyone else experienced this? The pain was horrific, I went to the ER where the doctor gave me a pain shot which didn't work and treated me really bad. He told me to use Aleve (I know right?) and I asked him, 'and if that doesn't work'. He answered, 'well you'll bleed and then you'll still be a doctor'. Thanks doctor dick.

I'm sorry you're going through so much right now. BC does crazy things to our bodies, even when we've stopped taken them for a while. Unfortunately a lot of ER doctors treat us that way. There are so many people that go there that are junkies just looking for a fix that I think they've forgotten some people actually NEED the pain medicine. Have you asked the doctor for a prescription pain med so that you can take it at the first sign of pain? I've tried a lot and they have all eventually stopped working but right now I'm on Ponstel. It's not a narcotic and actually works really well for me but if you don't have prescription coverage with your insurance I would ask for something different. If price is any indicator of how well it works it's the best in the world

Thank you for your reponse

They wont' give me anything. At all. My gyno tells me to take Aleve or Motrin. When she says things like that, I get so frustrated. I feel like no one understands. I'm on day 17 of my period now. Ridiculous. I'm over it.

I've never heard of Ponstel. I'll have to ask her about that.

If your gyn won't listen to you I would find another one. When I was in college I went through 3 different GYNs who said that and one primary care doctor. Some doctors just see so many patients that they don't really "care" anymore. I found one who I love. I can call his nurse and he'll call in pain meds for me no question. He keeps telling me that I CAN get pregnant and actually hugged me when I was crying. They are out there.

I've only seen her once, so maybe try one more time? If she still acts like I'm lying about everything, I'll find another. I just find that all doctors (except one so far) have acted like it's no big deal. I can't wrap my head around it, endo is horrible. You know this.

How long have you been TTC? I wish you nothing but luck! You will absolutely get pregnant mama, they told me I probably wouldn't have kids and I have two. Lots of luck to you .
