Have you asked the doctor for a prescription pain med so that you can take it at the first sign of pain? I've tried a lot and they have all eventually stopped working but right now I'm on Ponstel. It's not a narcotic and actually works really well for me but if you don't have prescription coverage with your insurance I would ask for something different. If price is any indicator of how well it works it's the best in the world

Thank you for your reponse
They wont' give me anything. At all. My gyno tells me to take Aleve or Motrin. When she says things like that, I get so frustrated. I feel like no one understands. I'm on day 17 of my period now. Ridiculous. I'm over it.
I've never heard of Ponstel. I'll have to ask her about that.
