With Brendan I definetly found out and he was definetly a shower . Next time around if it was a singleton I would want to have a suprise but if there were twins I would like to know the gender of both .
I wanted to know as soon as we found out I was pregnant! On DH's side of the family there hasn't been a girl in 61 years and so many were telling us I could never have a girl because of family history. That made me really want a girl and I was also sick of hearing that I'd never be able to ever have a girl. Both DH and I wanted a girl but would have been happy either way. We were both so happy when we finally saw the 3 lines indicating a girl at our u/s!!! I think if I had a girl, then a boy it may be fun if we tried for a third to let that be a surprise but never know. DH says he could never have a surprise, he would always want to know what we were having.
