...get your slippery little ones out of the bathtub????

Just curious...when he was little (we've always bathed him in our tub), i used to lay the towel on the toilet and lay him down and cover him up. Now that he is to big for that, (now don't laugh, but this is the only way I figured I could do it without dropping his slippery little self), I tuck the "cap" part of the towel in the front neck part of my shirt, then I lift him up and place his back against me and then I wrap him up and put the cap on him.

Any other ideas, how do you do it?????

Right now he just has his bath in an infant tub on the floor of the living room. I lay the towel on the floor beside it, and when he's done I pick him up and lay him down on the towel and wrap him up. Once at my BF's he had a bath in the big tub and I did like you said, had the towel on me and put his back to my chest and wrapped him up.

In the very beginning, we tag teamed the bath, but as I got comfortable, I put the towel beside the tub and picked him up and just got wet pulling him close.

I don't use the hooded towels anymore, just regular bath towels. I just set the towel on the floor next to the tub. Then I pull him out and sit him down in the middle of the towel and just kinda wrap it around him while I dry him off. I use a washcloth to dry his hair. Since he hates lying on his back this works better for us. I've never gotten wet doing it this way.

I've never had a problem with him being slippery though. I just pick him by his armpits, how do you do it? Maybe I'm no help at all.

We just run his little body over to our bed where a towel is waiting and then we lay him down and can dry him off.

We've still got the towel on the floor beside the tub, I hook my hands under his armpits and he wiggles but he doesn't get anyplace!

I wrap the towel around him and lift him out.
