Did anyone use a sling when baby was younger or plan to use one? How did you like them or better yet, how did baby like them?

I never even tried--Troy got so warm I knew it would be too much. I did have a front carrier (Snugli) that we used for walks, but that was it.

I wanted a sling but my aunt gave me her old Snugli so I didn't get one. I made one once out of a fleece blanket for the day and Jackson LOVED it. He went right to sleep! So I've been wondering if it would be worth it to get one for just around the house so I can have both hands and get stuff done!

We did do the sling - Eric's like Troy, he gets hot REALLY easily. We do have a Snugli carrier though, he wasn't that fond of it when he had to face me, but now that he can face out he likes it since he's right in the middle of the action.

I used a baby bjorn and loved it I got it because I dislocated my knee when kiera was 11 weeks and needed it to go up and down stairs with her I will sling my next baby.

We used a Snugli carrier. I didn't have a sling. I was scared I wouldn't hook it up right, and Kaven would fall right on out of it..lol..

We've also got a snugli but Jassie hates it!! I think its coz at the moment she still needs to be facing in and hates the fact she can't see what's going on.

I got two different kinds but didn't like them and Ally didn't seem to care for them all that much either. I much preferred the Baby Bjorn.

I never used one...I have had him in the Baby B'Jorn (sp?) and he does fine with it
