This was a big topic of discussion at the Mom group I went to--just wanted to see what you guys were doing!
We are on a well, so I have to give Troy Fluoride, I gave him vitamins at my PEd's request, but he has not needed Iron.

Forgot to add--I gave vitamins only while BF

Unknown to all 3 - I really don't know if he's been tested for anemia or not, if he was it isn't a problem? No supplements yet though, the formula is doing fine by him, and we use tap water so he gets some fluoride already.

No fluoride supplements, it's in the water.
No vitamins, though I took my prenatals while BFing.
No iron supplements, test came back normal.

They normally test for this at the 9 month or 12 month appt. You'd probably remember if they'd done this. It's a blood test. Most docs just do a finger prick (or heel prick). Poor Connor had to get blood drawn from a vein inside his elbow. I felt like the worst mother ever holding him down for that.

Ben's iron test was a heel prick and it was TERRIBLE! They had to keep squeezing his foot until they got a vial of blood.

No supplements here. The ped told us to use regular floride children's toothpaste rather than infant toothpaste.

No to fluoride, its in our tap water. No to iron and vitamins will be decided when she starts eating solids depending on what she will and won't eat.
