Jay was getting something out of the oven and Troy was standing close--Jay kept saying, "No, Hot, Back up" well, Troy wouldn't listen and put his hand on the inside part of the door. He just screamed and screamed and I was so worried that it was going to blister, but we ran some cool water on it and after about a 1/2 hour, he seemed fine. I was ticked at Jay for not waiting for Troy to move or me to get him, but he was mad enough at himself so I didn't say anything. Scared to beegeebies out of me though

That is totally scary.

My little sister did burn herself when we were growing up and she was about 7 or 8 at the time. She wanted cookies that were in the cupboard above the stove and wouldn't listen to my mom telling her no. My mom had just turned off the element on the stove and my sister climbed on a chair then on the stove, hand right on the hot element and...3rd degree burns. It was so scary, you could see the round element markings and it blistered real quick. My mom was a basket case and I ended up taking care of my sister and we got her in to see the doctor, and he prescribed a special ointment with this silver stuff in it to help it heal and he put dressings on it. It was so incredibly scary.

I can't imagine what I would do if it were Brandon.

I am glad Troy is okay. Hugs to you, you must be so frazzled.
