Hi. My name is Keeya. My husband and I have been married now for a year and a half. And we have decided to start trying for a family! I'm so excited but really at a loss for what to do as far as charting, check mucus and all that jazz! Lol so looking forward to sharing this journey with women who are doing the same.

Welcome Keeya! My name is Caitlin. DH and I will be celebrating our first anniversary August 1st. Have you been on the pill? I would suggest starting a prenatal vitamin. I would as join Fertility Friend. Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - Fertility Charting You can buy a basal thermometer and input your temperature and cm in there and it will tell you when it thinks you Oed. I bought my basal thermometer at CVS. I would also buy an ovulation prediction kit. You can buy them at the store or online. If you have any questions please let us know. I look forward to getting to know you! Good luck!

Welcome Keeya. I'm Judy and I've also been married for a year and a half I agree with Caitlin's suggestions. Sign up for that fertility friend site. When you sign up you'll get free lessons on all those things you mentioned and more.
Good luck!

Hi Caitlen!!! thank you so much!

Yes. I was on the pill. Been off for almost two months now. My body is just now trying to get back into the swing of things. Lol and have started prenatals.

But I will join fertility friend and start charting. I THINK I can gauge cm during ovulation but I really want to take extra steps to help me. While still making the baby making fun.
And as far as the ovulation kits go, should I get one asap because my af should be hear today or tomorrow. Or do I wait to see cm?

Hi Judy! Thank you as well for the warm welcome.

I'm reaallllyyyy excited about starting this journey! And having such a site as this as support and a learning tool.

Coming off the pill may cause your body too take a little while to regulate. I would go ahead and pick up an ovulation prediction kit. Do you have any idea when you ovulate? I would start them around cycle day ten. Good luck!!!
