Sorry!! I'm here. Yeah. She said that my progesterone (at what I guesstimate to be 16 dpo) was a 23... Which was way higher than I expected cause I thought that since it was after when AF was due it would be way lower. I haven't gotten a positive pregnancy test on my own, but the last time I tested was 13 dpo. She got me really confused though cause 1) they didn't do a beta which annoys me slightly because here I am still wondering (and too scared to take a HPT on my own) and 2) she said to keep on the progesterone for another week and if I haven't started then to come in for a beta. From what I read, it lead me to believe that the progesterone would keep AF away. And I asked her about that "I thought that the progesterone would keep me from having a period." And she said "Oh no, if you're not pregnant then you'll start." And I did have some spotting on Sunday night, but we had really frisky boom boom haha! No more spotting since then though. So here I am... 17 dpo and cautiously optimistic...

hi Steph!
That's a GREAT progesterone number. I'm a little confused as to why they didn't do a beta too - they could have used the same sample of blood. The RE's probably being cautious though since she doesn't know when you ovulated so she doesn't want to test early and get a false negative.
I really hope you get a positive HPT and that AF doesn't come!

Thanks Judy!!! I hope it doesn't either!!! I want this so bad (and it'd make for a **** good story!!) That I now have to tell cause it's too funny. I ovulated (I think) while we were in Dallas for my friend's wedding. We stayed with the bride and groom. And we definitely boom boomed in their bathroom cause we couldn't stand it anymore. (Haha, I know very mature!! We were the only ones there for a few minutes.) Anyway this friend is so funny. We used to all live together and he always made fun of us for having sex all the time. Hahahaha... anyway, if I were to find out I was pregnant, he's like the third person on my list to call. And I'd say "Hey B! We're having a baby! Guess how far along I am!" And I'd give him the exact number of days since we were there and he'd be so excited that we conceived on his wedding weekend! He's just funny like that!! And then he'd make fun of us for having sex in his apartment!! So even just for that I hope it works out that way!!!

18. Shouldn't I have had a positive by now if I was gonna get one. I mean... they confirmed O with blood work on Tuesday the 19th. Even if it happened early on Tuesday morning then that would just be 16 dpo... still enough time for a positive. I bet my natural progesterone just has to go down enough for AF to break through the suppositories. I'm kinda sad about this.

I would think you would get a positive test by now but everyone is different. How is the exercising going?

AF is arriving. Oh well. Exercising is going pretty good. Walked two miles on Tuesday and I hope to walk 3 tonight. Yay!! I attempted Yoga yesterday but that didn't last long. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Next step is to concentrate on weight loss for two cycles and then go back and start clomid.

Hey Steph,
I LOVE yoga. You shouldn't feel discouraged in case you can't do it like the expert teachers. Only do what your body is comfortable with I really like it. I have a hot yoga membership and it always makes me feel great and actually gives you a good workout. But I can only do the hot version in the first week of my cycle as per my RE's orders
There's a yoga teacher girl by the name of Tara Stiles and she posts some really short concise workouts on youtube. I've done a couple of them. I can't do everything the way she does it but with practice it will get easier
Good luck on the weight loss, you can do it!
