we just got married over a week ago and we are trying for our first child. we did the ovulation test strips and so we knew when I was ovulation. It just so happened to fall on our wedding night We didn't have any "connection" until our wedding night. Could we have gotten pg that night? Would I have any signs of being pg if we did? We don't really know what to look for or expect.

Congratulations! And welcome to the Newlywed board! I am the host and my name is Caitlin. Yes if you were ovulating you could have gotten pregnant that night. Some people have symptoms early and some don't. The hard part is that a lot of pregnancy symptoms can also be period symptoms as well.

thanks!! nice to meet u!! i don't have any signs or symptoms of starting my period like I normally would. we've been doing a lot of reading up on things and I have some signs of being pg but we aren't sure if it's too early to have them since it all took place less than two weeks ago.

No it is not too early. Some people get them immediately and sometimes people get none. It just really depends. What symptoms are you having?

I've got lower back pain, cramping, headaches and dizziness/light headed. I did take a test this morning but it came back negative.
