i know this sound selfish and i don't really care, but its so unfair..we've been trying for 14 months and i just found out marc my ex, his ex wife and her new fiance` got pregnant. they are unstable and i feel so bad for that baby. he isn't a good father to his other child. well i guess everyones gotta learn sometime. my insurance wont cover ivf or iui. all it covers is 1st consult and fertility testing to see if there's problems with me. there isn't any. even the gyn said your young it will happen. don't use opks, dont test. just relax. omfg is she kidding. i give up. i'm done. i'm going to college. saving for a car and focusing on the things in life that are important. i'm leaving good bye every one.

I just stopped by from browsing other forums. I'm 26 years old and it actually took me 7 years to concieve my first child. I was never trying, but I wasn't the smartest crayon in the box and hardly if ever used any kind of protection. I figured, me being young at stupid, that since I never had any accidental pregnancies after the first year of being sexually active that I just couldn't have children. Then I got married May of 2010 and a week later I conceived my first child, and now I'm pregnant again (actually trying).

Hey, you don't know me probably that well, but I check this board often. Caitlin can vouch for me! I tried for almost as long with my daughter. (I don't know your whole story so I apologize.) I finally had to DEMAND that my doctor give me a referral to a specialist. They kept putting me off and putting me off. And telling me I was trying too hard. I was so angry about it all the time. I finally told them if they didn't refer me to someone else, I was going to report them. I didn't know who I'd report them to, but someone! They finally gave me a referral. I went to the specialist, and sure enough I had PCOS. My insurance wouldn't cover ivf or iui either. They did however cover my PCOS treatment. Two months after I started, I got pregnant. For me, it was a simple fix. I know it's not for everyone, but it was for me. I had to learn the hard way that I had to be forceful in getting the care I needed. I hope that you can get some answers soon. Good luck!
