36 week appt...and some other stuff... - X-Posted **update 1st post

So today I had my 36 week appt. Technically not 36 weeks til tomorrow though....lol Urine was good, BP was good at 112/80. Down about 1 lbs puts me down about 15ish pounds all together. I got my GBS swab done, will find out next week the results of that...

So through the week I've been taking my BP, and sometimes I find a get a sort of high reading (one was 142/89 and last night it was 134/91). I had problems with my BP last time, nothing REALLY high, usually about 142/94 etc. But when they induced me at 39 weeks, and Alivia was born we found she was really affected by it (only 4lbs 11oz). My BP is usually pretty low (117/70 ish). So I told the Dr. this today and she said that my last appt. it was up a bit too, and I have to monitor it all this week. If I'm getting any high readings at all, they are taking me off work. She said if my BP is anything but PRISTINE next week, she is taking me off work, and possibly inducing me.

I was sooo not expecting that. But she said it is a serious thing when BP affects the baby and because I have a history they don't want to risk it. She gave me some blood tests to check for a bunch of different things. I also have an ultrasound tomorrow morning to check the growth and I'll update this post with the info from that tomorrow.

I barely have ANYTHING done. We get our new house on Friday...and I just haven't prepared at all for the baby. So I'm freaking out. But I don't want to do too much here. I bought maybe 6 outfits, some of which will probably be too big, I haven't bought anything like diapers, etc. I do have all the stuff from my DD though, so it's not like I have NOTHING....but I would really like to get a breast pump, some diapers a double stroller and get all the old baby stuff up out of the basement and cleaned up. I better get to it...!!! Pronto.... (where has the time gone?????)...oh and I guess I should pack my hospital bag too... I just feel soo lazy this time around..uggg...

*****ULTRASOUND UPDATE

Got back from my ultrasound. Baby is doing well. Measuring about 6lbs 1oz, all measurements are at about the 50th percentile. He is DEF. a boy! I saw the parts really clear. He was moving a lot and practice breathing, and still head down.

Please rest!!! Don't do too much preparing or your BP may rise! Make your DH do the majority of getting ready!!! Can't believe how close you are!!! Exciting!!!
