Nikki: Nikki comes back on 11/23. She is going to be involved with Diane's murder investigation. It will be questioned where Nikki was at the time she disappeared from rehab the night of the murder. There is a "sinister force in town who has been pulling strings off camera" and a lot of that has to focus on Nikki. Hamner says Nikki will be right in the center of the firestorm in the coming months.

Sharon: Sharon is FINALLY cleared of Skye's murder. Hamner says they are going to maximize the romantic bonds Sharon has formed with the men she simply can't give up on (Nick, Adam and Sam are mentioned).

Love Quadrangle: There will be a quad with Nick/Avery/Phyllis/Ronan. They say Avery is similar to Phyllis, but more contained which Nick finds very attractive.

Billy & Cane: Billy & Cane form an unusual alliance. Cane is going to relate to Billy because they both love their family and Billy wants Delia back in his life. Billy will gain insight into why Cane had to keep secrets from his family. There will be changes & growth in the way these two relate to each other.

Victor/Nikki: Hamner previews this as a hold on to your seat story w/ Nikki that is kind of larger than life scale that is the love story between Nikki and Victor.

Sharon/Adam/Nick/Victor: Sharon's freedom will make her make some surprising decisions about her life. She will be trying to figure out her next move to put all of this turmoil behind her. It says she is in a different position regarding custody of Faith and still has some feelings for Adam. There are overlapping stories with the leading men that are at a critical juncture.

Phyllis/Ronan/Avery/Nick: Hamner previews that Avery did come to town with an agenda but Nick is a total catch and what ever Avery's original intentions were there may be some real interest developing between the two. Ronan has built up very high walls around him, with Phyllis we will start to see some cracks in those walls that will let us know more about Ronan.

Billy/Cane: Cane will be putting his life on the line for Billy. Billy will be making decisions that he is going to keep from Victoria and Cane understands that decision more than anyone.

Christine/Paul: Christine comes back to wrap up some stuff with the Colin story. Her and Paul will also revisit the history with Isabella.
