Because I'm all new to this I have a wee question... hope you can help
As you all may know, this is the 1st time being off the contraceptive pill after 6 yrs and last night I had such excruciating cramping pains down there. I'm not sure what it is, but today, talking to my best mate who has PCOS also & is TTC and has come off the pill for the 1st time too, she reckons it may be me ovulating? This seems a bit . . . odd, to me. Is that right? She told me she had the same cramps not long ago, but I don't know if she's just guessing it could be ovulation pains.
Sorry if this is silly, but I'm just honestly not sure
I never had ovulation pains until last month... I actually thought I was pregnant I felt so funny. From what I've gathered, some people just get them. The pains were worse around the time I ovulated, then I felt a little crampy until AF came. FUN
it could have been ovulation pains - a 'normal' woman will ovulate around day 14 of their cycle, but it isn't uncommon to ovulate earlier - or later than that... it's also fairly common to get ovulation cramps, I know I get them the day before, and the day of ovulation....
because it's your first cycle off the pill, it could also be related to hormonal changes that are happening, because of that....
