Just got home from our first appointment, It was great!!!!!!! I absolutely love the doctor, and the nurses. The doctor took me in his office and went over some minor details about birth and things that I want and don't want we also went over the importance of me wanting the first trimester screen. Later in the visit he even apologized for just offering the screen and not the cvs or amnio right away, which didn't bother me because I'd prefer nothing invasive unless the screen comes back bad. He is having my screen done at 11 weeks instead of waiting and causing me more stress then I need. He said that it would be very unlikely to have another downs baby and that they are more commonly random. I also asked about him being the one to deliver and he advised there is a 90% chance he will there are 2 doctors in the office both of which are on call m-f saturday and sunday they alternate and there is 1 weekend a month where a doctor from another office covers them. I got an ultrasound!!!! Dr was very surprised at how remarkable baby was, it took no time at all to find a heartbeat, and I am measuring BIG! Never with Sara did I measure even a day big so this made me very happy. By sonogram I am 8 weeks 3 days we decided though we aren't going to put alot of stress on the due date and only change it if during the next ultrasound it is the same. Instead I am due between the 21st and 26th lol I'll upload pictures as soon as I figure out the scanner
