My best friend Stephanie had her baby boy on Monday night. We were hoping that she would go on her own, because the plan was induce on Monday due to IUGR and poor blood flow to the placenta. Low and behold he didn't want to come out. He didn't want to come out on Monday either!
After 15 hours of labor, 13 being without pain medications, Killian Archer was born at 10:51 pm, weighing 5 lbs 10 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. And he is absolutely beautiful. I helped her labor and tried to keep her comfortable, including massaging her back like nobodies business. I got to be in the room when she was getting her epidural, and during the delivery. And she let me cut the cord It truly was an amazing experience and I am glad I was able to be apart of it.

So happy that your friend had her healthy baby and you got to be there through all that... I hope to do that for a friend or family someday.
