I'm Amy married to DH for over 9 years now. We have 2 kids already. Spencer just turned 6 and Allison turned 4 at the end of August. When I turned 35 earlier this year it hit me, I NEEDED another baby! And fast before time ran out (DH is 42 and now I'm considered to be "advanced" maternal age ). So after pushing DH about it a bit he has given in...and we have tried for 6 months to get pregnant...still nothing I'm frustrated after not having to try at all to get pregnant with my other 3 pregnancies (my 1st pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 13.5 weeks)...I was able to get pregnant the 1st month on all those occations. Anyway, I talked to my OBGYN several weeks ago and he thought temping/charting would give us an idea of what is going on so I have started that just about a month ago. And now we are getting close to a VERY busy time of year (when the baby would be due) so I've decided to take a step back, relax, and maybe let my body get back on track over the next couple months. I'm going to try to just NTNP through the holidays and Jan maybe into Feb...if I can do that, then I will go back to TTC in Feb or March. I've loved the TTC board, but it still makes me want to be pregnant RIGHT NOW, which would still be fine, but timing wise I think waiting would be best. So I hope you ladies don't mind me hanging around for a few months.

Hi I'm Danielle, I just want to give you some hope that my Cousin-In-Law who was told that she would NEVER become pregnant naturally in 100 years had her 1st baby with IVF (correct abbv?) And the IVF for baby #2 failed. She said she was done trying and gave up, and sold ALL of her baby stuff, crib, maternity clothes, etc. A month later she was pregnant NATURALLY and he is about 6 months old now! So.... I am a HUGE believer in just letting your body do its job.
