Seven months ago DH and I decided that I should stop using bc and we would just see what happens. Since then my cycles have gone something like this 31 days, 35 days, 36 days, 42 days, and I'm currently on day 42 of my cycle no signs that AF is coming and negative pregnancy test. I'm starting to get a little concerned with the continuous increasing length of my cycles. Should I be concerned about this or do I just need more time?

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I had very irregular cycles my whole life, (ranging from 21 days to 45 ), and I didn't have a problem getting pregnant. I used the ovulation prediction kits to pinpoint ovulation, because with irregular cycles, it's hard to make sure you are dtd at the right time of the month. However, irregular cycles can be a sign of a hormonal imbalance and I would definitely ask your Dr if you are not pregnant within a few months. There are supplements and medications you can take to help regulate your cycle, but I don't really know too much about those. I'm sure some other ladies here will be able to advise you on that, good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I'm glad to know it's not just me. I'm going to definitely start charting my cycles and I'm going to see my Dr in a couple of weeks.
