Very possible, it happens to heaps of women. I'm sure there are many mothers of irish twins who thought that it was unlikely or impossible. If you get pregnant the first time you ovulate then you won't get a period at all. While some women can avoid a cycle for ages when breastfeeding, it's definitely not a reliable form of contraception. Some women's cycles start back up pretty well as soon as their body is healed enough or at any time in the months following when they are breastfeeding.
it depends. theoretically it's possible (I know the cases), but this is a huge stress for your body. so, you better not get pregnant yet. or consult your doctor, I think you wouldn't like the idea of your second child taking risks
Yes you can. I was BF and got pregnant when baby was 7 months old, and then nursing them both when i got pregnant AGAIN when 2nd baby was 9 months old. The boys are now 4 1/2, 3, and almost 2. They were all planned and we were TTC or NTNP or whatever you want to call it. My MW didn't have a problem with it as long as I felt ok, with no cramps etc etc. She wanted me to report to her right away if I felt anything amiss so she could advise against breastfeeding or not at that time.
I actually joined JM in 2008 on a forum there used to be called trying to conceive while breastfeeding. It isn't here anymore, but there are women on the other forums who are bf and TTC.

It is definitely possible. I did, though it was closer to my son's first birthday and I was in the process of weaning (so there was less effect from the breastfeeding on my cycles). I also always had my period each month, even when exclusively breastfeeding.

Yes, It is possible to get pregnant again while breastfeeding. I have lot's of friends who got pregnant while they're baby was 3 to 4 months. It's so sad cause the mother can't rest its body after giving birth.
