NTNP is going to drive me absolutely out of my mind because I think I'm simply too excited! I thought I did a good thing by just going off my bc and going about our life, but all I remember is I didn't start a new pack of pills for this cycle. I have no idea when my cycle should come this month, which means I have no clue when I Oed and I don't exactly know when I should start to test. These things were good mechanisms to keep me from going crazy (in theory) except now I'm actually going crazy!!!!!
Thanks for letting me rant!
Lol yeah the "laidback" way is a lot more stressful and annoying than I thought I would be lol. I found it is still worthwhile to keep decent track of your cycles whether ntnp or ttc so you know when to expect what. I found it helpful because my cycles have been all over the place, with O ranging from cd17 on the first cycle off bcp to cd11 last cycle (was cd12 or 13 this cycle) and luteal phase length varying between 11 and 14 days. I've been using fertilityfriend and its helped me get a better understanding of what's going on as my body adjusts to coming off the pill. And handy because it has an iphone and android app. It's hard to say when your period will be due this first month off but try not to worry if it doesn't come when you think it might. It could take a little longer for your body to catch up to not having the bcp hormones do stuff for it. Good luck and hope you get a bfp soon!
I was definitely going for a "no pressure" feel, but you're right -- this is worse! When af comes I will start tracking my cycle better so I at least have an idea what to expect. I want to look into this fertilityfriend app too! Thanks!!
