I really don't feel like making anything but I think at this point it is.. Tomato soup with noodles and grilled cheese sandwiches. I wish it was not cold outside and we had a little more $$$ so we could just go out to eat but it is what it is!

You can't beat tomato soup and grilled cheese. Especially here, where we're in the midst of a blizzard (Cleveland, Ohio)
But I forgot to pick up more cheese on the way home from work (and I certainly don't intend to go back out!!!), so tonight's leftover pot roast.

There's something in it for everyone in the family - DH does the meat with just a few potatoes, SD and DD both like the potatoes with just a little bit of meat, I go for the carrots and sauteed onions.
Mmmmm.

I'm usually a slow-cooker type gal - at least during the week when I'm working long days. It's great to get it all ready in the morning and have it ready by the time I get home!
But if I'm alone (rarely, but it DOES happen from time to time!) it's either soup and grilled cheese or else fettucine alfredo with chicken breast and broccoli florets (ummm....yeah....can we say FATTENING?????)

Stay warm.

We're having steak done on the BBQ. One of the best things about summer.
